I was told these 2,500 slate roofing shingles were reclaimed from Blackberry Farms in Walland, Tennessee where celebrities vacation. Multiple sizes available - 6x12", 7x12", 8x12", 9x12", 10x12" and 12x12" - each is approximately 1/4 inch thick. Please expect some variation in size and appearance...most have a natural patina. Slate is a naturally chalk receptive material.
Tiles have natural ridges, cleft, cleavage, mineral stains, imperfections and chipped edges. Beautiful, natural slate for crafting or decoration. Great for charcuterie boards, chalkboards, signs, art projects or reptile warming stones.
