    Vintage Bark wallet, pouch, purse Kenya Africa DR Lucian W Pye Family Estate 1970s Souvenir Gift.
    Here's a little local history and an Historical item. Made of bark and exquisitely embroidered is the Bark pouch, wallet , hand purse. This is in the most excellent and mint condition. One of a kind.
    The original Note from Dr. Pye's Niece is included. It says: Made of Bark. From Kenya, Africa. Brat to me by my uncle Dr. Lucian W. Pye. The wallet purse is 7 3/8" across x 5" tall. When opened it is 9.5" tall. The opening spreads open to about 4" at the top. The embroidery scene on the front depicts an African Village with a Woman carrying water on her head. from the river as there care cattails and reeds. Beautiful piece of vintage History. Vintage 1970s Kenya, Africa Souvenir, Estate Piece. Condition is flawless.
